Research. Aquillian’s market research begins with a value-chain analysis of the industry sub-sectors where we believe there is the most opportunity. In this approach, we look at the components of value creation, and identify the industry “pain points” in which customers are willing to pay significantly more than it costs to produce the good or service in question. Please refer to our case studies for specific examples of this approach.
Consulting. We structure consulting assignments to meet the varying needs of our client base. We specialize in investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio advisory services that enable investors to maximize the financial returns of their alternative asset investments through strategic sustainability investing.
Due Diligence. Aquillian takes due diligence seriously. We look into the details of operations, financials, portfolio strategies, and personnel, looking to uncover material risks and ascertain the potential of an investment opportunity.
Placement. Aquillian is affiliated with Growth Capital Services Inc, a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA/SIPC. Growth Capital has the responsibility of ensuring that scrupulous professional ethics and compliant operational guidelines are followed in any placement of securities deriving from Aquillian’s research and development work. The affiliation of these two entities affords our clients a great deal of latitude in how engagements can be crafted and delivered to best fit their needs.
Ecosystem Integrity Fund. The Ecosystem Integrity Fund (“EIF”) is a small sustainability-focused investment fund developed and managed by Aquillian Investments. The Fund seeks to invest in companies and projects that contribute substantively to reducing or ameliorating key threats to ecosystem integrity:
- Land fragmentation and conversion
- Depletion of productive capacity
- Contamination of land, air and water
